Favorite Send to FastDraw4v4 Trap & Recover Drill for selective trapping. Aggressively trapping, or "going green" on baseline drives and post ups. Also detailed in Frame 3, the "Near Man Rule" for rotating out of the trap and returning the defense to neutral. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is an outstanding horns set to use after a timeout, to being a quarter or if you are in need of a score! This action uses a "little" on "big" screen which negates the defense from being able to switch. If it does switch, you will have a HUGE advanatage with deep post position. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a quick hitter for a 3 in transition from Coach Archie Miller. This flare action really forces the defense to communicate quickly, as seen in the video below, the defender runs dircectly into the flare creating a wide open three. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran 3 consecutive end of game SLOB plays with 18 seconds left in a game vs the Houston Rockets on 12/28/17. With a defensive foul and a few offensive fouls drawn, the Celtics were able to get 3 possessions late in the game. This is the 2nd SLOB they ran that only burned a little over 4 seconds. This is an excellent End Of Game set that gets a quick 2 when the defense may be set to better defend the 3. See video below! Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is great quick hitter used after a timeout by Coach Archie Miller. I like this set because it uses some false motion followed with a screen the screener action that really puts pressure on the defense to communicate. As seen in the video clip below, the defenders do not switch correctly which leads to a wide open three. TIPS: Coaches incorporate false motion combined with STS actions! Give the defense a "dummy" look before entering your STS look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCoaches - are you in need of a 3 against a zone defense? Add this set to your playbook! Our head coach at New Washington has used this play for 12 years with tremendous success. We primarly use this against 2-3 and 3-2 zones. This action creates a quick overload putting pressure on the defense to cover multiple areas. There is also a slip option if the defense is able to close on the shooter quicky See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMoves on the Move In order to break down a defender on the move, we encourage all players to develop a go-to move and counter move. Consider the following points as well: 1. Maintain a speed of 80 mph (80%). 2. Attack the defense right between their eyes. Go right at them! 3. Make your move a stride or two away and attack the defender’s outside shoulder at 100 mph (full speed). 4. Finally, close the gap once you get by them. 5. Be sure to practice these moves on both sides of the floor!!! See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe blur screen is an effective way to create a double gap in the defense. The pass and cut movement can create a temporary window for the basketball to attack into the heart of the defense. During the Shaka Smart years at Virginia Commenwealth, he used the blur screen as a secondary transition action. Once the ball is swung from slot to slot, the trailer then passes to the wing followed by a cut to ball side corner. This cutting action now opens a temporary double gap for the basketball to attack the elbow. See video below! Further studying: Creating with Blur Screens See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis ATO from Boston's Brad Stevens can get you a lob at the rim or a 3, depending on how the defense plays the screen-the-screener action. Blog post by Tony Miller: Why You NEED FastDraw iPad This Season! See More
