Favorite Send to FastDrawStagger screen for either of your best shooters. If 5 man helps too much on the screen, make sure to look inside for the slip instead of screen and space. In frame 3 you can see the spacing and how 5, 3 and 1 spread the floor. If you have more coaches you can have 3 take the shot off the curl and have a coach make two passes to 1 or add another coach and have one coach pass to 1 and another coach pass to 2. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a baseline out of bounds play that I ran this season with my high school team. Initially when I drew up this action I invisioned utilizing the ending of the play to get 5 a lay-up. But the option that was usually open was 3 cutting to the wing for a shot. 5 was rarely open for 2 reasons; one was a lack of patience and two being that they would forget to run this option. Nevertheless, this is a simple play that I believe can be utilized at every level of the game. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn Play 1 SOB 2 is your inbounder 5 steps up to screen for 3 who cuts first to the ball side corner looking for a quick pass 1 sets a back screen for 4 looking for the lob at the rim SOB 5 4 & 3 screen simultaneously for 1 & 2 (5 has the option to hit either one if they are open) 4 screens across for 3 who comes to the ball and receives the pass 3 swings the ball to 4 as 1 is cross screening in the lane for 2 who comes off the screen looking to catch & shoot 1 continues across the lane and screens 5 who dives hard to the ball side post looking for a pass from 2 if no shot was taken See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play has four scoring options starting with a high post rub cut by 3 off 5. Second, 1 drives off 5's on ball screen to score in the paint. Option #3 is a pass to 3 comig off double screen by 2-4 for a shot. Last option on 3's catch is 2 curling over 4 and 4 sealing to catch and score. Give it a try! See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"Twist" is a counter to "Oakland" that was presented earlier. This play, like "Oakland", was one we ran while I was coaching at Turner High School in Kansas City, KS. The only difference was that we had #1 throw the ball inbounds instead of #3 as the diagram shows. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe key to this basketball play is timing and setting good screens. By making the defense focus on the hand off and rub screen action you soften up the defense and keep them from being able to help the way they should on the double screen. This is a good basketball play because it has multiple screening options. Get the defense to focus on the hand off and brush screen action to draw attention away from the double screen on the baseline for the shooter. This play is from Jeff B. Davis Community College 2011-2012 season. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawA variation of America's play. Goal is to isolate 2 in the lane as 3, 4, and 1 flood the right side of the floor. Starts with on ball screen and normal cross screen at blocks. 4 dives to right side, allowing 5 to screen down and free 2. Give it a try! See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw#5 Louisville Cardinals from their game against Illinois State The Cardinals did a good job moving the ball on this play looking to either isolate Siva for a three pointer or get the ball inside to one of their big men. The opening action is a good misdirection moving the defense away from the single baseline screen which Siva uses to get free. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a quick and easy set to run, yet it provides several scoring opportunities for the offense. If you have a talented PG that likes to play off ballscreens, this is a great set for him. The flare screen on the weak-side limits the defense's opportunity to help on the ballscreen and spaces the floor offensively. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. This play is best ran for a shooter that is also a good athlete. You will need to drill in practice having your players read the defense to determine if they should come off the pin down or go backdoor. See More
