Favorite Send to FastDrawOklahoma used high ball screens against Oregon's zone and man defenses. In this play, the Sooners roll the post into the lane and keep the other big in the short corner. As Spangler's defender steps up, he is wide open for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOU ran this play against Oregon in the Elite 8 to get an open layup. Although the Sooners missed the layup, the weave action against a switching defense opened up a lane for Oklahoma to drive. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGonzaga used this play against Syracuse in the Sweet 16. Against Syracuse's zone defense, Mark Few did a variety of things but on this action he overload the right side leaving a shot open on the left wing. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNotre Dame uses a high ball screen with a roll/replace action to get teams to defend ball-screen. They also have options to kick out to shooters if the ballhandler can get into the defense on the ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWisconsin likes to go 4out/1in against 1-3-1 zone defenses. The Badgers do a good job working in the gaps, especially in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, Indiana takes advantage of defenses that like to deny passing lanes. If the first cut isn't open, the 2 pops out to get the ball and looks to drive. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this set, Indiana creates a rare situation with a guard setting a ball screen for a big. If defenses switch, there is a mismatch with a big now guarding the point or a small guarding the post player driving. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSFA takes advantage of how typical defenses try to play the guard stack in this play. He runs one player to the ball and one deep. In a foot race, his guys can typically win and the inbounder just makes to throw it in deep enough. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is Coach Underwood's base zone offense. He uses two guards in the slots and the other 3 players work in a triangle around the zone defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a nice set that uses misdirection action to get a post up against the zone. The key is for the bottom post player to work behind the zone defense and duck in at the right time for the post pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Lumberjacks use this play as a quick hitter against 2-3 zone defenses. The ball is passed to the wing and once it is passed back to the top it triggers the wing runner and the posts to screen for the lob. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIf the defense jumps the cuts in the normal offense, the Lumberjacks can back cut and look for a lob over the top. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawButler is a sentimental favorite come NCAA March Madness since their back-to-back runs under Brad Stevens. Head Coach Chris Holtmann has done a great job putting his own stamp on the program this year under trying circumstances off the court. The Bulldogs stuck together and made another strong showing in this years NCAA Tournament. This is a simple little sprint-to-screen action which makes the defense guard two ball screens in one possession. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUtah used this play combining a ball-screen on the right side with a staggered screen for a shooter on the left. The stagger screen occupies the defense so that the big man can get the ball on the roll. If that isn't open, 1 passes to 2 cutting off of the staggered screen. See More
