Wisconsin likes to go 4out/1in against 1-3-1 zone defenses. The Badgers do a good job working in the gaps, especially in the corner.

Against 1-3-1 defenses, Wisconsin gets 4 players out on the perimeter and 1 player inside.

As the ball is moved, the offensive players try to get in the gaps. Against 1-3-1 defense, a good gap can be in the corner.

When possible, the perimeter players try to get the ball inside forcing the defense to collapse.
