Usuing the dribble against the zone Players can use the dribble against zone to manipulate pieces of the zone and apply misdirection. One of the #ZoneOffenseTips I like is the LOOP. They a screen-the-screener play and then had all of the players space out around the perimeter. This allowed the release option to cut to the hoop for the open dunk. The Pacers ran the common loop action on this set but did not give it to C.J Miles because he was being denied the ball. Instead they entered it into the post and ran Chicago action (off-ball screen into a dribble handoff). Having a baseline out of bounds series that is hard to guard not only makes the other coaching staff have to do work, it can be what separates your team in the postseason.
