"Zipper" - Post Up Set For 4 Man
09/27/2012This is a set that is very effective when you have a 4 man with the ability to post up and play with his back to the basket. We've had the most success with this play when we run it all the way through, getting to the screen-the-screener action. This play came from the legendary John Lucas and is a very simple sideline out-of-bounds play from the side that gives you a lob. Main goal of this action is to get the lob to 5 at the rim. However, if the defense takes away the lob you have 4 cutting hard to the top for a catch & shoot as well. See More
