Basketball Play - Zone Offense - Quick Hitter - White (Need a 3)

Zone Offense - Quick Hitter - White (Need a 3)

Dustin Cooper 10/03/2018

Coaches - are you in need of a 3 against a zone defense? Add this set to your playbook! Our head coach at New Washington has used this play for 12 years with tremendous success. We primarly use this against 2-3 and 3-2 zones. This action creates a quick overload putting pressure on the defense to cover multiple areas. There is also a slip option if the defense is able to close on the shooter quicky See More

Basketball Play - Finland - Diamond 53

Finland - Diamond 53

Ryan Nguyen 09/18/2018

This is one of the many "Diamond" sets from Henrik Dettmann of the Finnish National Team. As 4 slips the ball screen, this creates an advantage for the offense as x5 has to help on the slip. As x5 helps, 5 sets a pindown for 3. Because x5 is helping on the slip from 4, the offense creates a 2-on-1 advantage on the weak side since there is no help on 3 as he comes off the screen. Basketball Play - 5 Out Motion Offense: Middle Push Reads

5 Out Motion Offense: Middle Push Reads

KJ Smith 08/14/2018

The following reads are made in both the primary and secondary break. They can be the building blocks of an entire offensive system while developing the IQ and skill sets of your players. Circle: Corner player cuts to the rim as the wing player fades towards the corner for a shot. Drop: Wing player dives to the rim as the corner player lifts up to the wing for a shot. Down: Wing down screen towrads the corner where that player may fill up to the rim for a shot as well as curl or backdoor cut to the rim. The screener will either slip to the rim or pop out to the perimeter. Up: Corner lifts up to flare screen for the wing before slipping to the basket. The cutter may also curl to the rim. If the flare screener does not slip to the basket, they may sprint to the ball for a dribble handoff. See More

Basketball Play - Kansas Jayhawks - Double Down Screen SLOB

Kansas Jayhawks - Double Down Screen SLOB

Tony Miller 07/24/2018

This SLOB was one of the only bright spots for the Kansas Jayhwaks in their national championship matchup against the Villanova Wildcast. This set can get you a look from 3 or a slip on x5's show on the shooter. This SLOB can easily start as a box if you're into disguising all your OOBs with the same setup. Basketball Play - Milwaukee Bucks - Push Corner

Milwaukee Bucks - Push Corner

Austin Anderson 06/26/2018

Milwaukee had one of the most athletic lineups in the NBA last season. The Bucks were successful when they were able to play through Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Giannis is extremely gifted with size and athleticism, which gives him the ability to finish easily in and around the paint. Middleton was exceptional in post ups, moving off screens, and improved his pick/roll play. Milwaukee's corner offense provides multiple options in a set. Push Corner has a back screen to post option, and a side ball screen/ weak side pin option. At anytime, Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon can slip the corner cut for a basket if teams anticipate the play call. See More

Basketball Play - Golden State Warriors - Elbow Stagger Option

Golden State Warriors - Elbow Stagger Option

Austin Anderson 05/28/2018

What makes Golden State so scary is its ability to play people in different spots through out its entire offense. In this action the Warriors can plug in different players/lineups and not miss a beat. Offense becomes easy when players can play multiple spots on the floor. This play sets up catch/shoot, sneak drives, cutting baskets, slips and quick punch opportunities. At any time during this set, if teams fall asleep, Curry will be open on a quick handback option on the strong side. Durant is great attacking off the elbow catch for a quick iso. There will be slip opportunities off the stagger, because Thompson, Durant and Curry are all very good at losing their defender off screens. Golden State loves allowing Green to be a playmaker. Basketball Play - Golden State Warriors - Fist Down

Golden State Warriors - Fist Down

Austin Anderson 05/14/2018

Middle Pick/Roll Action from GSW. With having interchangeable players, 1-4 could initiate the play. Durant or Green could occupy the "4" spot in this set. This action is designed to get a high slip into a weak side single with a strong side single as well. Curry and Thompson need very little room for a catch/shoot opportunity. If they don't get an open look, they will just play... Pass/Cut, Screen Away, Ball Screen, or Durant Iso.
