Basketball Play - Serbia WBB - Secondary Flare

Serbia WBB - Secondary Flare

Aaron Schuck 07/09/2021

Secondary action from Serbia. They reverse the ball and the trail will follow the pass and set a wing ball screen. As the wing dribbles off the ball screen, the 5 is setting the flare screen for the PG. With the spacing, 3 looks for 4 slipping to rim after setting the ball screen. If the help stays in the paint off 2, then 3 can skip to 2 of hit the cutter off the flare. Serbia is the #8 team in the women's FIBA World Rankings. *New customers use code SAVE10 for 10% OFF Draw/Scout* See More

Basketball Play - Utah Jazz - Fake Burn

Utah Jazz - Fake Burn

Tony Miller 06/18/2021

Watch the video below to see Coach Tony Miller uses FastDraw, the #1 play diagramming program for basketball coaches, to break down this Utah Jazz set from head coach Quin Snyder which utilizes a “fake burn” cut. As Rudy Gobert (5) reverses the ball, Donovan Mitchell (2) makes the burn cut, but stops shot in order to set a back screen for Gobert to slip to the rim and dunk it home after the pass from 3. Great set to utilize both sides of the court and shift the defense. Send to FastDraw via the button above. Basketball Play - Chin Lithuania - 2 side Option

Chin Lithuania - 2 side Option

Diccon Lloyd-Smeath 05/25/2020

BC Rytas Vilvius head coach Dainius Adomaitis runs the most efficient ATO sets in the Lithuanian LKL. This set is a favorite of his coming out of a timeout. This play uses a "Chin" entry to get into a continuity ball-screen, in this case within the format of the Lithuanian 5-man break. This is the option to reverse to the 2-side. They like to execute running slips to the corner from the 4-man to attack switches. See More

Basketball Play - Texas Tech Red Raiders - Motion Sample: Kitchen Sink

Texas Tech Red Raiders - Motion Sample: Kitchen Sink

Dave Nedbalek 04/08/2019

This is a sample of the Texas Tech true motion offense. This is not a set play but a picture of the sequences of actions you will have to guard when facing them. In one possession you have to guard: a drag screen, flare screen, slipped step-up screen, a pick & pop, and one last flare screen by the 5 to empty the paint. The spacing struggles at times but they force you into uncommon situations and actions that it presents the opportunity for miscommunication and scoring opportunities. Basketball Play - Texas Tech Red Raiders - Iverson Point Ricky

Texas Tech Red Raiders - Iverson Point Ricky

Dave Nedbalek 04/08/2019

This is another simple set that has high volume results. Depending on how the defense plays back-screens you can save this wrinkle for a key moment to get a great shooter a shot. If the defender is jumping to the ball and getting through the backscreen first the cutter can simply cut back out on the weak side for a wide open fade. The big can read the catch and go right into a step up screen if there is no advantage on the catch as well. A great wrinkle would be to slip your 5 man on the down-screen if there is switching or miscommunication. Blog Post: Texas Tech Defense Puts Opponents on Red Alert See More

Basketball Play - Texas Tech Red Raiders - 25 Rub

Texas Tech Red Raiders - 25 Rub

Dave Nedbalek 04/08/2019

This is a very simple way to put 5's defender in a tough situation and a step behind a quick strike action. Notice the motion principles staying true off-ball with Culver adding the flare screen after 2's brush screen on 5. If x5 jumps to coverage early your big can slip to the rim wide open. As with most of Tech's offense were never 100% sure what is a natural occurrence in their true motion offense but nonetheless, this is a simple effective way to help your big arrive alone. Basketball Play - Auburn Tigers - DHO Shuffle Swing

Auburn Tigers - DHO Shuffle Swing

Diccon Lloyd-Smeath 04/06/2019

More quality execution from the #1 ranked Half Court offense in the 2019 NCAA Final Four. Play starts with the PG entering a DHO with the shooter on the wing. As the shooter and trailer exchange pass reversals, the PG receives a shuffle screen from the post player and the opposite wing swaps sides. On the 2nd reversal, the trailer completes the reversal and hits the PG on the opposite wing, then slips the pick and pop. As the PG drives the shooters cuts the lane, then leaks out to the corner for 3! See More
