Favorite Send to FastDrawA good BLOB set that I got from a really good high school coach while I was out recruiting one night a couple years ago. Simple but effective, and can be difficult to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCoaches, in my posts you will find me talking about getting your best players the ball a lot. I think it is very important to a teams success that the best players get the most looks and the best looks possible. Sometimes, you also have to get your opponents off balance. I have found the following play successful over the past few seasons, but it seems to me that the more unexpected it is the better. This is a fantastic play to get your trail big an easy bucket. Favorite Send to FastDrawAs we keep trying to improve our offensive efficiency, more and more teams are moving towards using ball screens to create scoring opportunities. At Varina we use various alignments to put the defense in a situation to limit what they can do help-side wise to defend our quick game. This is a action we use out of our 1-4 set in late game situations to get a quick shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe USA Basketball team ran this in the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship Quarterfinal game against Greece on 7/3/15. This BLOB set for a lob occurred late in the 3rd quarter against a 2-3 Zone Defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawNC State ran this against the Syracuse 2-3 Zone in the 2014 ACC Tournament. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith the score tied at 94 and 1:05 remaining in Game 4 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Semi Finals, Miami Heat Head Coach Eric Spoelstra drew up this quick hitter to get his two best players in a pick and roll situation (James and Wade) with shooters spacing the floor. In this case, the Brooklyn Nets helped on LBJ's roll to protect the rim, which allowed James to kick out to Chalmers on the wing, who immediately found Chris Bosh in the corner for the open 3. The Heat would stay up for good in the game and take a 3-1 series lead over the Nets. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs have ran this quick hitter for years. Tim Duncan typcially goes to set the wing ball screen and rolls to the rim. Manu Ginobili or Tony Parker come off the double stagger for the shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis "wheel" play is a set I got from scouting an opponent a few seasons ago. Stagger screens and screen for the screener action can be difficult to guard, especially if you have guys who can shoot well from outside. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawReally good BLOB set that I scouted opponent use last season. This set has many options to get a good look to score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlvin Gentry late game set to flare to the wing for an open look. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this BLOB Play, 1 starts with the ball out of bounds and 4 screens for 2 at the opposite elbow. 5 dives down to the low post looking for a quick pass if the defense isn't ready. If 5 isn't open, he steps towards the middle of the lane looking to get in x4's way. 4 rubs off of the screen from 5 and looks for the pass at the block. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIowa State using the point forward concept. Backscreen after the dribble handoff for the post up then screen the screener for potential three point shot. See More
