On Aug. 22, 2003, Scott Drew assumed Baylor's head coaching position and took over one of college basketball's most daunting rebuilding projects ever. Eleven years later, he became the program's all-time wins leader.
From 2007-15, Baylor rose to national prominence with Drew leading the team to seven 20-win seasons, seven postseason appearances, the Big 12's
first NIT championship, Baylor's first postseason tournament title in its 107-year history, and a Big 12-best and school-record 17 postseason wins.
This years Baylor team is extremely athletic and can interchange positions in their sets. This is a very good easy to run Motion set the Bears use against Man-to-Man defenses. It incorporates DHO action, SPNR, opportunities for quick hitting backdoor actions, and post.-up scenarios.

1 (11 - Medford) makes the entry pass to 4 (21 - Prince) and cuts to the weak side corner
3 (24 - Wainwright) steps out to SPNR with 4 (21 - Prince) on the wing

3 (24 - Wainwright) sets a SPNR screen on the wing for 4 (21 - Prince) and rolls short
*If Wainwright is open off the SPNR he is an option to score
5 (2 - Gathers) pops out and receives the pass

5 (2 - Gathers) executes a DHO on the wing with 1 (11 - Medford) who comes off the down screen from 2 (25 - Freeman)
2 (25 - Freeman) cuts through to the weak side after setting the screen
5 (2 - Gathers) rolls into the lane area looking for a possible quick pass

1 (11 - Medford) comes off the DHO looking to either hit 5 (2 - Gathers), dribble penetrate in the lane or reverse the ball to 3 (24 - Wainwright) stepping out

3 (24 - Wainwright) executes a DHO with 2 (25 - Freeman) coming off the down screen from 4 (21 - Prince)
5 (2 - Gathers) flashes high
4 (21 - Prince) cuts through to the weak side corner after setting the down screen

2 (25 - Freeman) passes to 5 (2 - Gathers)
1 (11 - Medford) cuts backdoor as 4 (21 - Prince) fills the wing and receives the pass from 5 (2 - Gathers) setting up the next action

5 (2 - Gathers) sprints-to-screen on the wing with 4 (21 - Prince) and rolls to the basket
4 (21 - Prince) comes off the SPNR action looking to:
-hit the post man
-hit the weak side post flashing in the lane
-pass to the wing who then makes the extra pass to the corner
