Favorite Send to FastDrawRETAbet Bilbao coach Alex Mumbru runs some very efficient sideline OOB actions. Their main set is out of a "Flex" entry. This play is the "Spain" pick-and-roll option out of the Flex entry. If you have a solid decision-maker at the PG spot, great shooters and a solid-screening big, this is a great set with lots of movement and actions in a short space of time. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw- 3 cross screens for 5 - 4 down screens for 3 - 2 passes to 3 - 4 cross screens for 1 - 3 passes to 1 on the move - 1 rips & drives baseline - 5 sets hammer screen for 2 in opp. corner - 1 passes to 2 for shot See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe ball gets reversed to the wing before a cross screen is set for the point guard to post up. Once the ball is inside, a stagger screen is set on the weak side for a shooter. That shooter however, will curl and screen for the shooting "4" player. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMinnesota used this play to get the ball in deep post position in the first half of their NCAA tournament game against Louisville. 5 flashes to the elbow to receive the pass from 1. 4 then screens for 3 who immediately goes into a handoff with 5. As the ball is reversed to 1, 4 cuts to the basket off a back screen from 2. #FastModelMadness Blog Post: Mid-Major Teams Poised to Make Noise See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawRejecting ball screens is a creative way to get your players to drive downhill. I like to use this set after a timeout after seeing how a team is defending ball screens. The more times a team has seen ball screens, the more likely they are to get caught cheating the screen allowing your player to reject the screen and get to the rim. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawDuring the past decade, especially after the 2006 FIBA world championship, the pick and roll offense was given a newfound level of attention. The avenues with which you can go down when discussing the pick and roll are endless (angles, spacing, player development, proper defensive technique). Here are the common options which the other three players outside of the PNR action can be involved in. There are definitely more options for the “other 3” but these are the most common approaches teams use today. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawPhiladelphia 76ers SLOB Action. Philly loves running regular actions out of SLOB looks. A majority of its SLOB's will start with a strong side back screen and a weak side pin to the top. In this action from there, Simmons gets them into their "Ear Tug" Series which looks a lot like "Horns". "Number-Number" tells you who is involved in the action. So for Ear Tug 25 Pop, the 2-5 are in action. Simmons comes off the 2 (Redick/Belinelli) and the 2 is flared by the 5 all the way out to the wing (Pop). Redick/Belinelli have the green light to shoot if they get open. Simmons then receives a RIP/Back screen from the 5 and clears. If the lob or dump down to Simmons is there, they will take it. Sequence ends with Embiid playing a 2-man game with Redick/Belinelli. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMichigan ran this SLOB in a "Special Situation." With only five seconds on the shot clock, the Wolverines ran this "Box Wiper" set, which resulted in a good look from 3.
