Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a play drawn up after the quarter break (TV timeout). Memphis Grizzlies ran this play against the Portland Trailblazers, Jeff Green (4) was able to get all the way to rim, driving off 5's slip. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPortland Trailblazers ran this play in game 2 of the Portland-Memphis series. With Lillard's speed and Portland's execution of spacing and screening, Lillard gets a clear drive to the rim. If Lillard decides to shoot the ball of the high ball screen, Robin Lopez (5) has great rebounding position. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawAt the 5:40 mark in the first half, UAB ran this box set play. The Blazers were very patient and worked through multiple options before getting an open shot on the dribble hand-off at the end of the play. UAB missed the shot but got an offensive rebound. Slowing the game down and working through offensive options looks to be a good strategy for Coach Haase. This slows down Iowa State and can get the Cyclones into foul trouble if they are lazy on defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBilly Donovan has coached teams to the peak of college basketball’s mountaintop. Coach Billy Donovan has reached Four Final Fours, two national championships, a perfect 18-0 conference regular season, six Southeastern Conference tournament titles and 16-straight 20-win seasons. He’s made Florida basketball a millennial powerhouse on the national level and he did it all at a football school. Now, he sits on the doorstep of yet another achievement after coaching his 499th victory Wednesday night against Vanderbilt. Coach Billy Donovan runs Ball Screen Motion Offense that moves the ball and gets shot attempts near the basket and the three point line. Coach Donovan goes for #500 wins against Missouri tonight. Favorite Send to FastDrawThese are drills I use to expose younger players to Horns and the actions that can be run out of the set. I think showing kids the NBA actions and sets in practice will change the way they watch NBA games and increase on court IQ. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set that gets a flare screen for a post player. A nice play to run in transition or at the end of the games if you need a quick score. The play starts with a dribble handoff and ballscreen. The play ends with a flare for your shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOption #3 of the basic triangle is the entry to the free throw line. The first look is in the post, then reversal for the pinch post option. If both of those are overplayed then look at the cutter from the backside to the foul line. The "blind pig" backdoor play is set up if the defense is overplayed See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawIndiana University of PA Women's Basketball ran this set against Shepherd University WBB earlier this season. This type of early screening action is a great way to ensure that when the ball screen action occurs the post defender will be late trying to hedge/trap the ballhandler. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWe use this drill to prepare for teams that run the dribble drive to defend some common actions we will see. Teams will run a screen the screener into ball screen, a dribble handoff into a ball screen, and a pitch from guard to guard into a ball screen. Each one of the actions can be difficult to defend, so coaches need to know how to play these. Coaches can double team, switch, go under screens and hand off, the options are up to each coach. Favorite Send to FastDrawOur team uses this drill when teams use the UCLA cut and some of the common actions. We like to break down how to defend the UCLA cut, down screen, ball screen, an scissor cut. This is a great breakdown drill for players at all levels. Coaches need to decide how to defend these common actions. See More
