Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a good set run against the 2-3 Zone with multiple ball screen actions forcing the defense to make quick rotation decisions See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Wolverines ran a variety of set plays against the Syracuse Zone for high percentage shots Here is a good play where penetration and a simple out cut leaves the defense withiout coverage on a perimeter shooter See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis was a nice action run by John Beilein against the Syracuse 2-3 Zone On the wing pass, the Zone is forced to make decisions on priority coverage In this situation, x4 got caught and 5 was able to hit 4 on the baseline for an easy lay-up - in the next sequence when this play was run, the defense adjusts, but this time 5 is free for an elbow jumper See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother good 1/2 court set run against the 2-3 Zone by the Michigan Wolverines. This set utilizes the ball screen as the 3 looks to get in the paint and force rotation situations from the back defenders The Wolverines ran this set effectively and what makes this even more dangerous is the 3 pt shooting ability of Stauskas on the wing spotting up See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of the set plays run by John Beilein in the Semi-Final Game against Syracuse. The Wolverines made an adjustment to their Zone Offense looking to attack the gaps by spreading the zone out. This is a very good play for an athletic 4 man who can put the ball on the floor. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a challenging yet fun drill. You can set up a scoring system with rewards/consequences. Many ball handling drills follow a predictable pattern and do not involve a live defense. This drill causes the offense to make reads or create openings while at a slight disadvantage of dribble two balls. The defender must decide how aggressive they want to be in reaching for a steal, while maintaining balance and control of a basketball. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawPlay shown by Jeff Van Gundy. He got this from Scott Skiles who ran it with the Bulls with Ben Gordan as the 2. Instead of going 1-4 low at the end of quarters the down screen would start at 7 seconds. Depending on the coverage 2 can pull up for a jump shot or drive for a finish at the rim. 2 can drive and kick to 1. 4 and 5 can roll and replace. 5 can pop and 2 can use the throwback pass. 2 can also pass to 4 if 4's defender helps on the drive.
