The Indiana Pacers ran this set a few times in the ECF against the Miami Heat. They utilized mis-direction against an aggressive Heat defense to keep Miami on their toes. Following the UCLA screen and flex screen the 1 man then turns right back around to get the 3, letting #24 Paul George run off a stagger screen. This brought the 1 off a down screen and gave him the ball back in a better scoring area for him to create.
1 gives the ball up to 2 who takes the ball up the court. 2 dribbles up the middle as 4 sets a back screen for 3 who cuts hard to the rim looking for an over the top pass.
After cutting to the basket 3 sets a flex type screen for 1 who cuts over the top and to the rim. 4 moves down to set a down screen.
1 turns around and sets a screen for 3 who sprints off 1's screen and then 5's screen reading his defender he can curl, fade, or straight cut off 5's screen. 4 sets down screen for 1.
On 1's catch he will have a jump shot, driving lane, or if 4's defender helps he will pop to the open side.
