Pacer Zipper Empty Side Ball Screen - FastModel Sports

The Indiana Pacers run a lot of zipper screens to free up #24 Paul George. Here they sent #55 Roy Hibbert up immediatly on the catch to set a ball screen for George while clearing out the left side of the floor. I think the key to this action is #21 David West the Pacer's 4 man moving to the short corner.

1 dribbles the ball to the wing. 4 sets zipper screen for 3 who comes to the top of the key for a pass from 1. 4 dives to the rim.

5 comes to immediatly set the ball screen on 3. After passing the ball to 3, 1 sprints to the oppposite corner pushing 2 up to the wing. The 4 man moves along the baseline to the opposite short corner. The 5 man now has the entire left side of the court to pop or roll.
