Alvin Gentry Phoenix Suns "Spin Double Rip"
06/02/2015Alvin Gentry runs a nice double rip set on the baseline for Channing Frye. I could see him implementing this for Anthony Davis and the Pelicans. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawSteve Kerr has been my favorite coach to watch his actions all season after time outs and the playoffs have been no different. He runs great action here for a quick hitter shot, and a nice backdoor option. The biggest part of these sets is the fake dribble hand off to Steph at the top of the key, that fake freezes the big man's defender and allows for a clean pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSHALLOW is a great quickhitting play to helps you attack Zone looks with a simple, but hard to guard action, giving you either a wide open look from 3 or an easy, high percentage paint touch. It was our gp-to play vs. 2-3 Zones last season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDavid Blatt has been adding new sets almost every single game throughout this season. To start the playoffs he added this new set "Zipper Cross" to try and get Kevin Love a post up in Game 1. Throughout Games 1 & 2 he then ran this set with different counters and options out of it, the main one being a high Pick & Roll for Kyrie Irving to attack out of. The set starts off with a Zipper cut (typically by Kyrie Irving) and then the bigs cross, looking to get Kevin Love to seal out of it. If the post is not open or if Blatt wants Kyrie to attack out of the Pick & Roll, the 5 man continues high and Love exits to the corner to space the floor. They have also ran this for Lebron to post & then counter that with him flashing to the Elbow for an isolation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawRandy Wittman drew up a great after timeout Hammer set to get an open 3 to take the lead late against the Atlanta Hawks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw5 and 4 start at the elbows. 4 screens for 2 who makes a zipper cut up the lane line. 1 dribbles to the right wing. Once 2 has cleared, 3 cuts around 5 and 4 from th left elbow to the right corner. If 3 gets the ball without a shot, he looks to drive middle as 2 and 1 relocate for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw5 and 4 start at the elbows and screen down for 3 and 2. 1 dribbles to the right wing and gives the ball to 3 on the zipper cut. 2 quickly passes to 3, and 1 runs across a staggered baseline screen to the opposite corner. If 1 doesn't have a shot, 2 makes a cut off of a back screen for 4 and a cross screen from 5. If the shot for 2 isn't there, 5 runs toward 1 as if setting a ball-screen and slips towards the rim. 4 sets a ball-screen for 1. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawDribble Hand Off set from the Elbow with both guards cutting off each other. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw2 and 3 exchange wings around 5 and 4 at the elbows. Once 3 has the ball on the right wing, 1 moves to the short corner. 4 screens across for 5 at the elbow. If 5 cuts to the elbow, 4 rolls to the basket. If 5 gets the ball, he looks to swing the ball to 2. 5 and 3 then set a staggered down-screen for 1 in the corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, the Wildcats use several cross-screens to get shot opportunities. The first cross-screen is with both guards in the lane. If 3 isn't open for a shot in the corner, 2 screens across for 5 in the lane. If 5 isn't open, he turns to screen for 2 who cuts back to the short corner for a shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Timberwolves run very good action at the end of quarters to get a look for a shooter. Key to this play is the set starts at 8-9 seconds left on the shot/game clock. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this play, 5 and 4 start at the elbows and screen down for 3 and 2. 1 dribbles to the right wing then passes to 2. Once 2 has the ball, he swings the ball to 3 as 1 cuts across the lane off of a staggered ball-screen from 5 and 4. Once 1 has the ball, 4 screens for 2 and 5 screens for 4. If neither option is open, 4 sets a ball-screen for 1. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this box set, 3 pops out to the corner and gets the inbounds pass from 2. 3 then dribbles up towards the top of the key off of a ball-screen from 1 as 2 cuts to the opposite wing off of a double cross-screen from 4 and 5. If 2 isn't open, he cuts into the lane and 1 cuts to the left corner off of 4 and 5's screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAlong the lines of Randy Wittman, Kerr likes to run the Hammer set to get his players open, and in true Kerr style he runs a nice counter out of this set. Having Mo Speights (stretch 5) set the Hammer screen knowing his defender would be prone to sag off and help, and then opens up for a jump shot. See More
