Favorite Send to FastDrawAustralia ran this play down 85-84 with 41.4 seconds left in their bronze medal game against Spain. Matthew Dellavadova (1) got the inbounds pass off of the screen from 3 and drove baseline looking for Patty Mills (2)in the corner. Spain took away the hammer screen from Aron Baynes (5), so Mills cut to the FT line and received the pass from 1 for the shot to give them the lead. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe USA Women's team ran this play to open the second half in their quarterfinal game against Japan. With the score relatively close at the half, they wanted to get the ball inside to help establish a post presence. When 3 cuts off of 4 at the high post, she has the option to get the handoff and take it in for a layup. If the defense takes that away and no handoff is available, 3 continues across the lane to set a cross screen for 5 to free them up for the post entry pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawVariation of the Spurs iconic "motion weak" demonstrated by the USA Women's National Team in their quarterfinal win over Japan in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Instead of the signature cross screen/down screen sequence, the screen sets a back screen after the cross screen. Set a good screen, cause help, then separate from th screen for a three-point opportunity. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is an elevator action from a SLOB box set and a second option if the elevator shot is not there. If the shot isn't there, 5 sets a screen for 4 to pop out to the perimeter for a shot or drive. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Nuggets run this "ram action" play by setting a screen for 2 in the corner and having 2 cut to set a flat ball screen for the point guard. As 1 uses the ball screen, 2 pops for a shot at the high post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAustralia uses a pick the picker action in this play with a cross screen / down screen combination. If nothing is there, the big sprints out to set a ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTeam USA used this play to get a quick post opportunity for Demarcus Cousins to open the second half in their game against Venezuela. The down screen forces x4 to help against the curl, which opens up the pass to the wing. To run this play you want to make sure your 4 is comfortable on the perimeter and is skilled in making post entry passes. The difficulty in defending this play comes with x2 having to guard consecutive actions, fighting over the pindown screen and helping on the cross screen. If 2 sets a great screen and x5 is unable to fight through it, it will lead to an easy post up for the 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLithuania ran this play in their preliminary round game against Brazil. This play provides multiple scoring options for them in a half court set depending on what the defense gives them. Lithuania has opportunities to get the ball inside to a post player (5) on a cross screen, to the point guard (1) on a flare screen, to a perimeter player (3) for a 3 on a down screen, or to a secondary post player (4) slipping the screen to the basket. Favorite Send to FastDrawWith the Australian Boomers win over the French national team I thought I would put up my favorite play from the French U17 mens team. We played the French team in pre world competition losing to them by 1 point on a shot at the buzzer. This action which we called "cirlce motion" was very effective at allowing them to have multiple scoring options while being hard for us to negate defencively. I like the action to create uncontested threes and/or in situations you want some time off the clock before on ball play. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Detroit Pistons summer league team ran this play down 5 with 59 seconds left to get a quick open look at a 3. 1 & 3 set a double screen for 4 for the first option. This forces 3's man to help and to be late coming off the two screens from 1 & 5. 2 passes to 3 up top for a great look at a 3. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Chicago Bulls summer league team ran this variation of the Wedge play to get the ball inside for a post up play. Frequently teams try to get the ball into the post on the initial side of the floor after the screen from 2. In this play 2 pops out to receive the pass from 1 after he sets his screen. 4 and 3 set simultaneous screens to get 5 open in the post and to free up 2 to make the post entry pass to him. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Houston Rockets ran this play to open their summer league game against Golden State. It provides an opportunity to get the ball inside the paint early in the game with options to kick the ball out to shooters. As the ball is reversed 4 sets a cross screen for 2 who posts up in the logo area. 3 sets a brush screen for 5 who follows up with a pick & roll for 2. See More
