The Boston Celtics ran this crucial baseline out of bounds play down 3 with 8.5 seconds left in the game, and were able to make the shot that sent the game to overtime. They were looking for a corner 3-point shot for either Jaylen Brown (3) or Jayson Tatum (4) off of identical actions on either side of the floor. 1 and 5 lifted to the elbow area and then set screens for 3 & 4 as they curled around them back to the corner. Pin down 3 to 5 and 5 receives the ball from 2. 4 sets a pin down to 1 who flashes at the top and receives the ball from 5. 4 sets a pin down to 2 who makes an iverson cut and opens at the opposite wing.The play ends with a pin down from 4 to 3 who exits at the wing and receives the ball from 1 for an open 3pt shot.
