Favorite Send to FastDrawA good action to get your post the ball on the block. The post has 2 opportunities to recieve a cross screen and score. The play can finish in a screen the screener action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a set the Miami Heat ran in the Eastern Conference Finals to get Ray Allen a key three point basket against the Indiana Pacers. They utilized mis-direction having Lebron James sprint from the corner to set the ball screen and then pop while running Ray Allen off a stagger. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very simple Post Isolation into Cross Screen/Down Screen set play. A widely used action, but difficult to guard because it includes a pair of ball reversals, a couple of post isolations, and forces difficult decision-making by defenders who get caught up in quick screens. Favorite Send to FastDrawFor this set make your high post entry to your best passing big. Line up your biggest wing opposite corner of where the high post entry pass is going, so if the defense switches guard to guard screening action, you have a size mismatch. Make sure you sell to your point guards that setting a good cross screen will help get them an open shot off of 5's down screen. This play is from the 2012-2013 Wisconsin Green Bay season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season. The big key for this play to work is having a post player that can make a pass out of the post. You have to make sure you get the timing down of your 5 man rolling off of the ball screen into the cross screen from 2, and your 4 man receiving the pass from 1. If you can train your 4 man to make the read on slipping the down screen set for 2, you will be able to get him easy lay ups. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA set Augustana used last year to get a post touch. Timing is really important with the 3 man going to get the cross scree for 5 on 4's catch. A good counter to this would be having 3 come out the backside on a stagger. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 receives a screen flashing from the opposite block to catch on the wing. 1 then continues to a ball screen. Go through the play to make 25 jump shots from the nail. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is great for a player with a size or strength mismatch on his defender. If you can’t get the ball on the block right away look to the high post for the post feed. Don’t go away from the post up too quickly. The deeper the catch the easier it will be to finish the play. Don’t make the post man wait on the ball, give it to him right when he is open. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis set was run by the Chicago Bulls in the 2006-2007 season. This set is designed to get you a lay up or post up from your best post player, or a three point shot from your best shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is great because it touches all five players hands and it gets swung from side to side. The goal is to get a good look in the post or to get a shot off of the down screen for the shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA very simple but effective play that coach Jasikevicius ran against Asvel. Horns set to a diagonal screen so his best shooter can choose where to exit. Either to 5 after a pin down or to 4 after a cross screen. Video clip below. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis weave action is very well designed to get a shooter a open look from three. See More
