Favorite Send to FastDrawFlex Entry. 4 flashes to pass from 1, 5 sets up flex screen. 3 elevates on 1's downscreen. If x2 jumps over top of flex screen on 4's pass to 3, 2 will start to go low, then fade. 5 turns and rescreens x2 to pin for the shooter. 3 skips to 2. If 5's defender switches out to cover the shooter, 5 should seal x2 in the paint for a post feed. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Washington Wizards used this SLOB play against the Atlanta Hawks on May 11th. Down by 3 points with 9.5 seconds to play the Wizards tried to set up Paul Pierce for another clutch shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 set and a counter to that set from Kevin Stallings. Diagonal is the base action and is a STS play for a shooter or a post up. At the clinic Stallings made a big point of having the guard screen above the FT line. The counter to the play is "Diagonal Pop" which is an elevator action for the shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is "5 Pop". Score 3 with this BOB. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a sideline out of bounds play to get 1 and 4 in on ball screen action at the top of the key with shooters spaced to the corners. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is from the Fran Fraschilla lecture during the 2012 Brayden Carr Clinic. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGood play to free up a big guard if he is a good shooter and denied the ball a lot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis NHSBCA Playbook box set uses several staggered screens to set up a jumper or a lob over the top to an athletic post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is a quick hitting 1-4 High set designed to isolate a side ball screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a play that the Atlanta Hawks have run a few times in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. It is a quick look from the sidelines out-of-bounds to get an easy post-up. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is "2 Dive". Cross-Screen stagger option open up several looks. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis baseline out-of-bounds play is not just a way to get the ball in. It gives two solids options to get a good look in the paint. It can be run against man or zone. It has a higher potential to be run against zone because of the cutting action but it is essential that if it is run against zone that the screener hits his man. This play is one I took from my father who has coaches youth basketball for over a decade and it has been his most succesful baseline out-of-bounds play. Also since it ends up in four players on the baseline, Flex can be run from it after the ball is inbounded. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is "Elbow 3-Flex". Start your flex action a little different incorporating the elbow. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWe had a chance this year to pull one of the bigger upsets in the Horizon League as we were leading Green Bay by ten points with under eight minutes to play. Green Bay ended up the season as the 2 seed in the conference tournament, and plays UIC tonight in the Horizon League Tournament Semi-Finals on ESPNU. Their PG #24 Keifer Sykes is their star player and has won league Player of the Year the past two seasons. Coming out of the media timeout down ten they ran this BLOB against us to get them back into the game and set up their press & 3-2 zone defense. They screened the bottom man of the zone so he couldn’t follow Sykes up to the elbow, and drifted their best shooter #12 Love to the far wing. When Sykes caught the ball it accounted for both of the defensive guards. He quickly reversed the ball to #12 Love and our top guard defender and bottom wing defender had to scramble to close out. The 5 on the reversal pass turns and seals the defensive center for an entry pass or rebounding position. This in my opinion gave them life, and was one of the biggest reasons they came back and beat us by 1. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA play 100% designed to isolate your more athletic or stronger 4 man on the side of the floor. Detroit utilizes #2 Juwan Howard Jr. in multiple ways but he's at his best when he can play 1 on 1 basketball. Detroit isn't a team that runs a ton of offense but they push it hard in transition and attempt to create mis-matches thru blowing the ball up the floor. After transition their best offense is finding different ways to isolate players on the floor, in this case #2 Howard. He gets the switch in the ball screen and then all of the help on the back side is guards. With his strength & quickness he can power it up over smaller defenders. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play is a good play to get a high low action if you have a good passing big man, or if you have a great shooter or isolation player that can play off of a hand off situation. This play is from the 2005-2006 Duke season. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to 2 on wing and cuts to opposite corner. 4 steps to top of key to receive pass back from 2. 4 enters a dribble handoff with 3. 5 sets a ball screen for 3 immediately following the handoff. 2 spots up in corner. 5 rolls. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawToday's FastDraw Play of the Day is an end of game sideline set. The key to this play is having 5 setup hard and 2 setting a great backscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a nice 1-4 Low set that gives your the inital option to have your point or lead guard take his man off the bounce. As that is playing out the other players create some movement to have defense looking to defend cutters. You can get a nice Hi-Lo out of your post game or catch and shoot option for your wings. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe over/under action is used to begin this play. On 1-3 pass, 2 cuts baseline as 4 cross screens for 5. 5 cuts to high post and catches from 3 and passes high/low to 4 in lane to score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis post special is set up by baseline cut and catch by 1. On ball reversal from 2 to 1, 4 and 3 screen across for 5 to catch on left block. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLuke Hancock was the best 6th man in America last year and came up big for the Louisville Cardinals in the NCAA Tournament. Here is a staggered screen set play run for Hancock in the 1st half of their game against the Michigan Wolverines. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUCONN Women's Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma uses this play on occasion to free up a shooter and a post for good looks at a shot. While the PG isolates and dribbles on the wing there is a lot of misdirection action in traffic near the paint. I like to think of this play a little bit like an off-centered Triple Screen that leads into a post cross screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGood set with movement to free up your best post player on the block as well as get your best shooter coming off a downscreen. See More
