Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Wisconsin Badgers ran this BLOB play in their match-up against the Florida Gators on Tuesday night. It comes out of a 1-4 low set-up The guards begin by crossing trying to catch the defense in a "switch" situation which would possibly open up a quick hit inbounds pass on the weak side. If this doesn't happen, the 5 man sets a screen on the 2 who pops looking to catch & shoot if open. When the catch & shoot pass is not free, the Badgers utilize the SPNP as 5 pops to the corner off the ball screen looking to catch & shoot the 3 pt shot in the corner. The Badgers are such a disciplined team and execute their sets with great precision. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawMonty Williams runs this play for the New Orleans Pelicans to get Ryan Anderson a good three point attempt by rubbing his defender off him with a decoy action. On the wheel route run by Gordon off of Anderson, Anderson's defender is forced to sag off and let Gordon's defender thru, thus giving Anderson the perfect lane to pop back to the three point arc. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators do a very good job running their half court Ball Screen Motion offense. With good screening angles, strong basket cuts, and good spacing for kick-out passes, the Gators are able too breakdown defenses with their quickness on the perimeter and the strength of their inside game. Coach Donovan does a good job adjusting his sets during the course of the game giving his team the best chance to get high percentage shots from their half court offenses. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawOpposite is a secondary break play that is run when the point guard is forced to the other side of the floor. The end result is a screen-the-screener play that hits quickly and can get your team into your half court offense. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Florida Gators are playing shorthanded right now, but once their line-up is complete, they will be a very exciting team to watch. Head Coach Billy Donovan has a wealth of experience and the way he runs his half court sets demonstrates this. Here is "America's play", a simple Horns action with a STS action at the end setting up either post entry or a possible jump shot. From here, the Gators go right into their Ball Screen Motion which they do a great job of executing. This play was taken from the Gators game against the Wisconsin Badgers during ESPN's 24 hour marathon. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"Pearl" is a play that was taken from Bruce Pearl when he was the head coach at Tennessee. This is a four-out pick-and-roll play that has the center step out and set a ball screen for the point guard based on how the defense is forcing the point guard. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a great drill I got from Florida State Assistant Stan Jones at a clinic he spoke at in the Fall. Many times when you do 1-on-1 alley drills with your team the defensive player becomes not as energetic half-way through the drill. This drill takes that factor out and makes the ball-handler beat four fresh defensive players in order to score. Once 1 and X4 finish the drill continues with a X1 becoming the new offensive player and X2 becomes the first defender in line; X3 becomes the new X2, X4 becomes the new X3, and the previous offensive player is now X4. Favorite Send to FastDrawVCU BLOB Stagger vs M2M This is a well designed play run by VCU on the BLOB Guest 23 (C) & Shannon 4 (PF) set a double stagger screen for Johnson 32 (SF) who comes off the screens looking to catch & shoot Shannon 4 (PF) pushes into Guest 23 (C) man as he cuts over the screen either looking for the quick hit off the inbounds pass or an entry pass from Johson 32 (SF) if no shot is available See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Nuggets run this lob set for Kenneth Faried, trying to get him a look at the rim while the rest of the defense prepares for a ballscreen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIf the ball reversal is denied to 2, 4 passes ball back to 1, 3 still sets the backscreen, but instead of screen taking place on the weakside of the floor, 4 cuts on the strong side of the floor. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe University of Virginia ran this 1-4 BLOB action against VCU. With the flex screen, the play has a quick hitting action to it off the inbounds pass and the pin down screen-the-screener action gives the shooter a chance to get off an open shot if the defense miscommunicates on the flex cut Here, the PG does a good job reading the defender and gets into the lane off the dribble.
