Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is nicely designed play from Bill Self and his Kansas Jayhawks which they ran in the second half of their game against Oklahoma on Saturday night looking to get Greene a shot at the TOK off a possible elevator action. Selden Jr. did a good job reading the defense drifting to the corner where Graham found him alone for the skip pass and wide open shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw"The Swing is a four-out patterned offense with continuity. All five players are interchangeable, and spacing, screening, cutting and accurate passing are vital. All five players have opportunities to post up inside, and the Badgers often invert their offense and post guards. The offense is deliberate (Wisconsin ranks 333rd out of 351 in the nation in adjusted tempo), often with multiple passes and places value on each possession with high percentage inside shots, or free-throws. Unlike some of the recent, newer offenses that feature dribble penetration as their engine of point generation, the Swing offense is truly a “team-offense” that places a premium on good passing, screening and cutting." - Randy Sherman - http://bballbreakdown.com/2015/02/14/wisconsin-badgers-inside-the-best-offense-in-college-basketball/ See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw1 dribbles right as 3 cuts off of a staggered zipper screen from 5 and 4. 1 passes to 3 then flares to the corner off of a screen from 2. 5 screens for 4 who cuts to the left wing. If neither 1 or 4 are open for a shot, 3 passes to 2 stepping to the ball. 3 screens away and 5 posts up. Once 4 gets the ball at the top of the key, 2 follows the pass and sets a small on big high ball-screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAfter hitting the elbow man, the 1 again sprints to the split screen. In this look the 2 elects to use the split screen and sprint to the DHO with the 5. As that takes place, the 5 hands the ball off and dives to the basket. The 2 takes the HO and looks to get down hill while the 1 lifts out of the corner. On the weak side the same action ensues with the 4 setting a wide pin for the 3 or with the 4 setting a fade screen. See More

If 1 isn't open, 2 dribbles towards the top of the key then looks to pass to 1 on the wing. 2 clears out and 4 sets a ball-screen for 1. If 5 gets the ball flashing high, he looks to give the ball to 2 on a dribble hand-off in the corner. See More

Favorite Send to FastDraw1 passes to 5 at the top of the key as 1 and 2 cut into the lane. If neither option is open, 5 passes to 3 and 4 replaces 5 at the top of the key. Once 4 has the ball, he can swing it to 1. 1 looks to pass to 3 cutting off of a back-screen from 5. 1 can also pass to 4 flaring off of a screen from 5. See More

If 1 can't get a shot and 3 isn't open, the next look is for 1 to pass to 5 flaring to the wing. If the flare isn't there, 1 passes to 2 then makes a shallow cut to the corner. 5 screens for 3 who pops out to the wing. 4 sprints across the lane to screen for 2. 2 drives middle as 4 rolls to the basket. To intitiate the play, 1 dribbles left sending 3 across the floor. 3 loops around a staggered screen from 2 and 4 at the right elbow. The first look by 1 is to pass to 3 at the rim. In option 1, 3 cuts back to the right wing off of the staggered screen from 4 and 2. In option 2, 3 cuts off of a down-screen from 5 while 4 sets a flare-screen for 2. See More
