Inbounding the ball from the corner can be a difficult situation. The Nuggets started this play with good spacing to make sure they got the ball in. Once 1 got the pass they ran a decoy action with 3 cutting across screens from 5 and 4 to shift the defense. 1 then dribbled back to the original side to pass the ball to 2, cutting through the elevator screen for a shot. This is a great set from Gonzaga Coach Mark Few. It appears that 5 is sprinting into a ball screen, but actualy will recieve the pass and look to hit the guard cutting backdoor. If 5 is overplayed, this is a great backdoor opportunity for him as well. If the backdoor cut is not there, then everyone holds and 5 has a double gap to drive his man from the top of the key.
