Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a simple set, which enables a team to get a post isolation. If the defense switches, the inbounder should look to throw it directly to the post player. If the defense fronts the post, the back side is vacated, allowing an easy lob pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors used this play early in Game 3 of the NBA Finals to get a look for Klay Thompson (1) off of a post entry action. It's a great play to get the defense to guard multiple actions and get the ball back in your point guard's hands for a shot. The double drag at the beginning of the play was a decoy action to get the ball into the post. After the post entry 1 & 5 set a staggered split screen for 2, who cut to the basket off of 1. 1 was getting overplayed on the screen from 5 and rejected the screen to go backdoor for a layup. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors ran this play to start the 4th quarter in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. It is a variation of the "Loop" play that they run, which Steve Kerr brought over from his time with the San Antonio Spurs. Normally 3 would curl around 5 to receive the pass up top from 1. In this play 3 curls around 5 to the FT line and 1 passes to 5 in the post. 3 & 1 then set a staggered screen for 2. 2 curls around 3's screen and cuts to the basket to receive the pass from 5. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs ran this play to get a quick post up for Lebron James (4). The Warriors had to provide help on 4. 3 then screened for 2, getting him open for a three point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs ran this play in the 3rd quarter of Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Though they weren't successful in the execution, this play provides a few opportunities for open shots. After 4 receives the ball in the post, 2 sets a hammer screen for 3 cutting to the corner for the first option. If 4 sees this option open he can drive baseline to make the pass to 3. The secondary option is 5 setting the split screen for 1. In this play, the warriors switched the screen and 5 cut to the basket for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCleveland ran this ATO action to get LeBron James a postup in Game 2 of the 2017 NBA Finals. As X5 drops down into the paint to help, X2 is shading towards X5 and X2 gaps between 2 & 3. 2 screens in for 3 to prevent X3 from recovering and closing out on the shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn game 1 of the 2017 NBA Finals the Golden State Warriors ran double drag on back to back possessions. The first time Steph Curry came off of the double ball screen and got a wide open three pointer. The second time they ran it, the Caveliers switched the first ball screen and Kevin Durant rolled to the hoop. Curry passed back to Green (the 5) and dumped it into Durant in the post where he got fouled. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics used some misdirection action to get the ball into the post in this ATO late in game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. After the ball is inbounded to 3, 5 & 4 set a decoy staggered screen for 1. 5 slips the first screen to get the ball isolated in the post, where he can attack 1 on 1. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawIn the 4th quarter of Game 7, in the 2017 NBA Playoffs, the Celtics were trying to find an answer to the Wizards 7-0 run. Brad Stevens ran this ATO, which resulted in an easy Marcus Smart lay-up. The play uses some misdirection, to get an easy post entry. With Celtics' star Isaiah Thomas cutting to the wing, and a cross screen happening, it looks like the ball will work back to that side of the floor. Instead, Olynyk dribbled the opposite direction, and Horford screened X3. When X4 fought over the screen, Smart (3) simply slips to the ball. This was one of the best ATO designs of the 2017 NBA Playoffs. The Celtics weathered that Wizards run, winning Game 7, to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw"Iverson Flop High Low" is a nice counter to the Iverson series. The Iverson cut is used to draw the help away from the baseline. The point guard dribbles opposite of the cut. The 4 pops, after setting the screen, and receives a pass from the point guard. The 5 ducks in, for a high/low pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs ran this ATO to get a quick postup for LeBron James, taking advantage of Toronto's strategy of switching screens on Kyle Korver.. Once 3 (Korver) got a good screen from 5, he sprinted off the baseline screen from 4 (James). Once x4 switched onto 3, 4 ducked in to receive the pass from 1 in the post. See More
