Favorite Send to FastDrawWith 2.8 seconds left in the 4th quarter and the Detroit Pistons trailing 91-92, they (Bob Beyer) ran this EOG SLOB action to get Henry Ellenson a 3-point shot in their game against the OKC Thunder at the 2017 Orlando NBA Summer League. The Screen-the-Screener action is decoy/misdirection to free Ellenson on the down-screen action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawGreece ran this EOG SLOB action against France at FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017. With Greece trailing 65-58 in the 4th quarter with 52.3 seconds left in the game, they ran this quick hitter to get an open 3-point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavaliers ran this play down 3 with 12.9 seconds left in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. With no timeouts left, the Cavaliers were looking for a three point shot. This play provided two options at it, but both were defended well by the Warriors. The Cavaliers subbed out Kyle Korver on this possession but he wouldn't have been an option. They were looking for Kyrie (1) or LeBron (3) See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWrinkle out of the Celtics' ATO "Zipper Iverson Keep" action. 5 fakes ball-screen for 1 then turns around to set a comeback screen for 2. 1 also has the baseline pass to 4 for Hammer action. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this play with the score tied and 36.3 seconds left in game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics wanted to get a quick score within 5 or 6 seconds so they would end up with the last possession of the game. As 2 gets the inbounds pass, 3 & 4 cut to the corners for spacing. 1 sets a brush screen for 2, allowing 2 to drive hard right looking for a layup or a kickout to a shooter. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics used some misdirection action to get the ball into the post in this ATO late in game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. After the ball is inbounded to 3, 5 & 4 set a decoy staggered screen for 1. 5 slips the first screen to get the ball isolated in the post, where he can attack 1 on 1. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics used this play to get Avery Bradley (2) open for the winning shot in game 3 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the score tied and 10.7 seconds left, the Celtics had the option of going for a 2 or a 3. The play started with 3 curling around the first screen of the stagger and cutting to the basket. If defended correctly, 3 will still have a 1 on 1 opportunity in the post and 2 can come off the pindown screen. The Cavs sent two defenders after 3 though, which got 2 the open shot off the down screen from 5. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs used this SLOB play with only 4.5 seconds left on the shot clock to get an easy layup. The Spurs used a common play with the elevator screen as a decoy adding a back screen to it. Kawhi Leonard (4) did a good job of keeping x4 on his top side as he set the elevator screen with 5. This allowed 5 to set a quick back screen and get 4 a wide open layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Cleveland Cavs ran this play to get Lebron the ball in a 1 on 1 situation at the basket with 1.9 seconds left on the shot clock. 5, 4, and 2 cut hard to the perimeter bringing their defenders with them. This allowed 3 (Lebron) to cut to the basket with only his defender to beat. Though he missed the shot, the Cavs got a good shot in the paint in a late clock situation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Toronto Raptors ran this EOG BLOB action against the Milwaukee Bucks with 54.4 seconds in the 4th Raptors up 85-82 in Games 6. 2 brushes off of 4 and slips to opposite wing faking screen for 3. 3 cuts off of the stagger screen from 4 & 5. With X3 trailing behind 3, this forces X5 to step out to help causing X4 to make a choice between 4 and 5. If X4 helps on 5, 4 slips to basket. If X4 stays home, 5 pops out to 3-point line. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWith the LA Clippers trailing 88-83 with 1:14 in the 4th quarter, they ran this ATO/EOG SLOB "Decoy Hammer" action against the Utah Jazz in Game 5. 2 (JJ Redick) sets a flare screen for 3 (Austin Rivers). This is decoy action as the defense has to make a decision whether to switch or not. In this case, the Jazz decide not to switch and this slight indecisveness (they switched on the 1/3 fake ball-screen action which might have caused some confusion) gave Redick space to run into a shot off of the comeback screen for 5. Favorite Send to FastDrawWhen building your playbook for next season, we want to give you some things to consider. For example, do your sets have anything that make them easy to scout? Do they all start from different formations? Is it difficult to flow from the base offense, into the sets? Do they all use the same action? Do the sets lack versatility? These are all challenges, which coaches must consider, and do not realize until they face the best teams on their schedule. The "Elbow Series" below is an example of some sets that check all of the necessary boxes, which make them a solid addition to your playbook. Read More: http://bit.ly/2pbH6L1 See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Spurs trailed the Grizzlies by 3, with 22 seconds left, and had the ball on the sideline. Popovich and the Spurs are known for their "Hammer Action," which is a baseline drift play. After a zipper screen to get the ball inbounds, the Spurs designed a "Hammer Action." Behind Kawhi Leonard's drive, they set a down screen for Patty Mills. The misdirection put the Grizzlies into a defensive scramble. On the pass to Mills, Kawhi's defender left to help. Kawhi spaced to the corner, where Mills made the extra pass. This resulted in a wide open 3 for Kawhi Leonard, which tied the game. In the tough scenario of needing a 3, late in the game, the Spurs got the rare uncontested look. A great design, with tremendous execution. Despite Marc Gasol's game winning shot, handing the Spurs a loss, this was the obvious "Xs and Os Play of the Game!" See More
