Basketball Play - Rip

Rip

Kyle Gilreath 05/29/2014

This play the Florida Gators used to run a lot during end of games situations, is similar to one the San Antonio Spurs run called “Hammer”. This a great play to run as it gives you multiple scoring options to counter defensive adjustments. To see EVERY play Florida ran in the 2014 Final Four you can do so in my eBook Championship Execution! See More

Basketball Play - 21 Series Transition Offense

21 Series Transition Offense

Matt Hackenberg 12/15/2021

The 21 series is usually a 3-player action that happens right out of transition. The bunch action makes the options easy to disguise, almost like play action fakes in football. There are a variety of actions that can come from this series, and they all develop quickly, making them ideal for teams that want to play with a fast tempo. Not all the diagrams are represented with clips in the video below, but this was all I could dig up on film. Basketball Play - Box Angle Empty

Box Angle Empty

Diccon Lloyd-Smeath 05/24/2020

BC Rytas Vilnius head coach runs the most efficient ATO sets in the Lithuanian LKL. Rytas also lead the league in PPP (per Synergy) from the roll-man. This set is great way to get into an angle pick-and-roll early in your offense. If you have an elite playmaker at the 2 guard and a great short-roll decision-maker at the 5 position, this play is simple but veru tough to guard. See More

Zachary Weir 02/27/2020

Wheel Stagger Punch is designed to use multiple actions that will cause multiple mismatch situations. Primary option being a double stagger screen to get a post up for a bigger guard. The guard posting will have the opportunity to score or facilitate out of the post. Great ATO set. See More

Basketball Play - 4 Out 1 In Motion Offense

4 Out 1 In Motion Offense

Shannon Clancy 04/18/2018

This 4 out, 1 in motion style offense is not a patterned or continuity style offense, but rather a set of rules designed to give players the ability to read and react to the defense. This offense is easy to learn yet hard to perfect. It's also very hard to scout and prepare for once fully implemented, due to its read and react nature. It is best used by teams that are guard heavy, but can be adjusted to fit any type of lineup. Jr. Wizards Coaches Manual See More
