Favorite Send to FastDrawWhile watching the Michigan vs Colorado State game today, I noticed a simple action that was used early in transition. Using cuts/rubs to move defenders is the key. You will be able to get a nice post entry to your inside post on the block, a 3-point look off the back screen or high low action. Follow more #FastModelMadness22 here See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUniversity of Texas Women Basketball Team ran this low post feed motion set with a side ball screen for 1 to clear the top of the key. This allows a direct pass from 2 to the post who has a pop out above the 3pt line for an open shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a long form action used as a 4 Out set. The Carolina back screen and the flex are both hard actions to defend, so cramming them into one play will put a lot of stress on the defense. If you're looking to get the defense moving with player movement and screening, this is a great set for you. Check out this Carolina Flex BLOB set as well. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a Princeton alignment. The mix entry gets some movement going and sets up the flare pretty easily. This set is an easy way to work arond the edges of the defense looking for an easy opportunity without much risk. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a 5 Out alignment for a flare screen three. This becomes a pretty natural option in a secondary break setting. Simply initiating a DHO can be a trigger to execute the action without any play call. I like the action because it stretches the defense side to side. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a clever action. I this is an interesting and unque action, that is also really simple. The actions requires great timing bur presents opportunities for 1 to drive, 2 to play off the flare, and 4 to slip. Favorite Send to FastDrawI use this overload set to force the defense to defend two shooters with one. The post at the nail can turn and shoot as well, This has been a very succesful zone set for us. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawIn this diagram and embedded video we look at a secondary break action to create options on both sides of the court - a post up and a stagger screen. I like the ball is reversed before half court, creating a good flow to offense. The more help in the post, the more likely the stagger is open, and the more attention paid to the stagger, the more likely the post will be open.
