In this BLOB play, 1 starts with the ball out of bounds. 5 steps out to the corner drawing his defender with him. This is especially effective when your 5 can shoot. 2 cuts to the opposite block and 3 dives down the lane line looking for the ball. 5 steps towards the rim then sets a screen for 3 at the opposite elbow. 4 moves out to the corner to clear space for 3 and 5. If neither option is open, the ball is inbounded and passed to 1. 1 dribbles left as 3 screens for 5 and then 4 in the corner. 1 can pass to 5 or 4 on the cuts into the lane or he can pass to 2 in the corner. In this BLOB Play, 1 starts with the ball out of bounds and 4 screens for 2 at the opposite elbow. 5 dives down to the low post looking for a quick pass if the defense isn't ready. If 5 isn't open, he steps towards the middle of the lane looking to get in x4's way. 4 rubs off of the screen from 5 and looks for the pass at the block. See More
