Basketball Play - Florida - Continuity Offense

Florida - Continuity Offense

Luke Riegel 11/07/2012

This continuity offense provides an opportunity to get all 5 offensive players involved within the screening action. It also has provided us with a great "2nd offense" that is completely different than our offense that we run traditionally. If you have guards that like to post-up and bigs that can play on the perimeter, this continuity will be beneficial. See More

Basketball Play - Bruin

Bruin

John Leonzo 04/27/2013

Here is a set play that is a staple of Rick Byrd's at Belmont. This is a great set when you need a three because of the double down screen that is set for 2. Also because of the double screen that 4 and 5 are setting, 3 will have a good chance at driving baseline and not having to worry about help side defense. See More

Basketball Play - Spurs SLOB Bearcat

Spurs SLOB Bearcat

Kevin Bruinsma 07/05/2013

A common San Antonio Spurs SLOB which didn't translate into many points against the Miami Heat. But the amount they ran it made me think they must have had good success with this action during the season. They utilized these back screens to get #21 Tim Duncan a post iso. The only hoop they got on this action against Miami was a #2 Kawhi Leonard 3 from the top of the key. See More

Basketball Play - Utah Jazz 1-4 High Double Back Screen

Utah Jazz 1-4 High Double Back Screen

Al Baker 09/16/2013

This is our entry into the little-big back screen that the Utah Jazz used with John Stockton and Karl Malone back in the day. You may be able to get the ball to the 2 on the first basket cut, but more often than not the x5 defender will be sagging on the back screen, leaving 5 open to catch on the wing. If your 5 isn't a shooter, you may want to change up personnel to avoid allowing that defender to play off the ball and take away the entry to 4. See More

Basketball Play - KORVER 3PT

KORVER 3PT

Jens Hakanowitz 01/20/2015

This is one out of Coach Budenholzer's playbook. A set designed to give Kyle Korver a shot from the 3-point line. Korver sets multiple screens before going on his way to get open. This makes his defender tired and tough for him to trail. See More
