Favorite Send to FastDrawSan Antonio Spurs "screen the screener" after coming off a UCLA screen and then a back screen for a post player. Multiple options for a good look to score. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is another play for our 1-4 High Set that we like to use and play a 2-man game on the strong side. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAs we keep trying to improve our offensive efficiency, more and more teams are moving towards using ball screens to create scoring opportunities. At Varina we use various alignments to put the defense in a situation to limit what they can do help-side wise to defend our quick game. This is a action we use out of our 1-4 set in late game situations to get a quick shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTo start off the NBA Summer League, the Oklahoma City Thunder ran this set. Pass to the elbow and cut off a quick baskscreen for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe San Antonio Spurs have ran this quick hitter for years. Tim Duncan typcially goes to set the wing ball screen and rolls to the rim. Manu Ginobili or Tony Parker come off the double stagger for the shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawLob set to have point guard cut through and set a backscreen for big at the elbow. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDesigned to pull the middle man in the zone up and throw a lob behind the zone. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSteve Kerr has also used alot of action that the San Antonio Spurs have run with their Motion Strong/Weak and he runs nice options out of this for quick hitters. The first option is a rub screen for Draymond (look for them pointing or hitting their elbow's coming up the court to trigger this). They also run a quick pindown screen for Klay that they like to start each game with, as well as a lob set for Livingston. I think they will run the lob for Shaun Livingston as an entry or way to get him into the post, his matchup off the bench may be Matthew Dellevadova that he clearly will have a height advantage with. Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother Fred Hoiberg, Iowa State zone set. This is after a timeout vs. Texas. Inside ball screen against top piece of the zone the sprint to corner off rear screen. Screener then slips into high post. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIowa State using the point forward concept. Backscreen after the dribble handoff for the post up then screen the screener for potential three point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play that the Washington Wizards ran at the end of Game 4 for Paul Pierce is one of my new favorites. It is very simple yet extremely effective as a misdirection. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn the playoffs, alot of teams attack mismatches, and Golden State has been no different. This postseason when the first option off the backscreen is covered, he had Klay Thompson & Harrison Barnes both post up against weaker opponent guarding them. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother quick hitter from the Wizards game in Game 4 to get Paul Pierce an easy layup. As the ball is brought up on the wing, Beal sets a "Rip" screen for Pierce and then comes off a double screen. Because of the shooting ability of Beal, he frees up Pierce by screening and then cutting off a double screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis 13-14 play from the Boston Celtics starts just like Horns 23. In this option, instead of setting a cross screen to the post for the 3 man, the 2 sets a rip screen for the 4 to a block post up. The 5 man then cleans up on 2 for pick the picker action. See More
