About This Play/Drill

On April 2, 2015 of this past season, the Phoenix Suns were down one point with 6.8 seconds remaining on the road at the Golden State Warriors.  The Suns ran a brilliant ATO SLOB quick hitting set to clear out the weak side and get an open lay-up for Eric Bledsoe. The Warriors did not switch any of the screens. Instead, the Warriors chased/trailed the screens, allowing the weak side to be cleared out and Bledsoe to curl in for the go-ahead lay-up (however, the Warriors would eventually hit a game winning shot at the buzzer).

2 comes off the rub screen from 5 and cuts to the top of the key area. Simultaneously, 3 cuts to the opposite corner while 1 curls around toward 5. 5, after screening for 2, will set a second screen for 1 to curl to the rim.

1st Option: 4 passes to 1 curling off 5 for the drive and lay-up.

2nd Option: 4 passes to 2 for the shot near the top of the key.
