Here is a late game SLOB set that Doc Rivers has used with many of his teams in the past. Getting your best shooter involved in ball screen and flare screen action can be very difficult to defend.
1, coming off double staggered screens from 5 and 3, circles around to receive the inbounds pass from 4.
After screening, 5 pops out to the wing. 4 steps on to the corner. 1 dribbles to the wing and reverses to 3 at the top of the key. 1 then cuts to the block.
Immediately as 3 catches the pass from 1, 2 steps up to set a ball screen for 3 at the top of the key. After setting the ball screen for 3, 2 will receive a flare screen from 5.
1st Option: 3 passes to 2 for the shot, coming off the flare screen from 5.
2nd Option: 3 looks to make a play off dribble penetration and/or then hit 4 in the corner for the shot.
