Colorado used this SLOB play to get KJ Simpson (1) an isolation play for an open shot to win their NCAA tournament game against Florida. 1 starts with a backscreen for 5. The defense has to honor this action so the offense won't get an easy layup. 1 then cuts to the ball to receive the pass from 3 where he can attack one-on-one. Video clip below.
1 sets a backscreen for 5 then flashes to the ball to attack in an isolation.
4 screens away for 2 for a secondary option.
