Jaguar is a play coming out of a high post offense, where the ball looks to go inside for a backdoor initially. If that backdoor is taken away, the set quickly expands to get two three point shooters open looks, taking advantage of how tightly the defense constricted around the lane to take away the initial backdoor.
1 hits 5 in the high post. 1 and 3 initiate a "slip-split" action leading 1 to the backdoor. 5 should try to hit 1. 2 and 4 engage in a slow backscreen action to occupy weak side.
If 5 can't get the backdoor or, he passes to 3 and screens him. 1 and 2 exchange underneath and 1 curls around into either a shot or into a DHO.
After the screen, 5 sets a downscreen for 2 and the floor is balanced.
