Smash Down vs Match-up Zone - FastModel Sports

This is a set to run vs a Match-up Zone Defense. "Smash Down" is the counter to "Smash" and looks to take advantage of the middle defender of the zone staying low and anticipating getting sealed.

Play begins with wing pass from 1 to 3.

1 gets the ball right back from 3.

3 then cuts to block just like Smash. 1 passes to 2 player at top of key.

As soon as 2 receives pass, 5 screens the middle of the zone. 2 hits 4 flashing to the ball.
