Heat SLOB Elbow Catches - FastModel Sports

The Miami Heat do a fantastic job of getting the ball to the elbow in pressure/clutch situations. Here are two plays the Heat ran against the Indiana Pacers in the ECF from the Sideline out of bounds to get elbow catches. One entry turns into their most successful play the FT Line Back Screen two man game between Wade & Bosh with Lebron having the ball. The other set was how Miami won G1 as Lebron had an isolation from the elbow.

5 sets the down screen for 3 sprinting to the ball for an elbow catch.

1 steps in bounds. 5 sets back screen for 2 cutting hard to rim then immediatly looks for the ball.

2 sprints up to set a screen for 5. 5 cuts off 2's screen to the rim looking for a lob or quick lay-up. 2 then runs off 3's screen to the ball side corner looking for a shot. 1 sprints to the opposite block and up to the wing. After 3's screen of 2 he opens up and pops to the ball.

4 hits the 3 man as 5 spaces away. 3 has the entire floor isolation on his man.
