The Chicago Bulls ran this pick and roll play to take advantage of the Boston Celtics strategy of switching guard to guard ball screens. When 3 sets the ball screen he makes sure to get underneath x1 and pin his defender opening himself up for the lob. 1 quickly passes to 5 to improve the passing angle and 5 makes the lob pass to 3.
3 sets a ball screen for 1.
5 pops up top to receive the pass from 1.
5 makes a lob pass to 5 at the rim.
