About This Play/Drill

For this play have your 1 set the first screen in the double screen so the defense can't switch the guard to guard screening action. Make sure that you are working with your 2 on how to read the defense. He needs to be able to read and react instead of being a robot and automatically coming off the double screen. This play is from the 2010-2011 Houston Rockets season.

  • Basketball Play - 10-11 Houston Rockets - High Post Entry with Double Screen

1. 1 passes to 4 and 1 and 5 set a double screen for 2.

2. 2 cuts off of 1 & 5's double screen. 5 dives to the block, 1 pops to the wing.

Option 1 - 4 passes to 2 for a shot.
