This is a nice play run by Thad Boyle and the Buffs of Colorado
The Buffs have a very talented PG in Spencer Dinwiddie who with his size and athletic ability can really breakdown a defense
The use of the UCLA screen to set-up the double stagger is well executed and what makes this play well designed is the end when no shot is available, as it runs right into a SPNR with an open floor for Dinwiddie to breakdown the defense or read and make the kick-out pass
1 (Dinwiddie - 25) passes to 3 (Gordon - 1) breaking up the lane line to get open on the wing
4 (Johnson - 2) moves to the elbow to set the UCLA screen for 1 (Dinwiddie - 25) who cuts off the screen to the basket
5 (Scott - 40) steps out to occupy x5 and take away weak side help if there is a quick pass inside on the UCLA cut
2 (Booker - 0) cuts to the top of the key replacing the 1 (Dinwiddie - 25)
1 (Dinwiddie - 25) comes off the double stagger screen set by 4 (Johnson - 2) & 3 (Gordon - 1) and receives the pass from 2 (Boker - 0)
4 (Johnson - 2) pops out to the corner & 3 (Johnson - 1) clears to the weak side corner
2 (Booker - 0) sets a screen at the FT line for 5 (Scott - 40) who sprints into a PNR with 1 (Dinwiddie - 25) who comes off the screen looking to drive or dish
