  • Location: 5/6 and 10

Tempo - 4/5 seconds (depends on your team)

Setup: 3 lines - "post" players can be their own line to get extra reps posting and passing the ball out of the post.

Dish passes to top, player gets 3 point shot or 1 dribble pullup.

After first pass, the "post" player ducks in and posts on the mid-post of the wing line's side.

  • 2 receives the next pass from the Dish and swings it to the wing player.

Wing player uses post feed fundamentals to feed the 4 at the mid-post.

Note: Add a coach with a pad to make the post up more real.

  • 1 takes a high laker cut, and 2 fills behind.

1 gets to the volleyball line and then sprints out for a shot at the wing from the dish.

4 kicks the ball back out to 2 for a shot.

  • Variation:

Have the post player pass opposite, and the machine pass to the filling wing. Simulates a pass out of a double team to the weak side - 4 can then use escape dribble, pivoting, two hand overhead pass, etc. Need to be careful of the dish shooting the next ball out - proper positioning is key.
