Coach Turgeon of Maryland has a lot of different weapons this season and this is a nicely designed play to give a "stretch" 4 a chance to pick & pop behind the arc for a 3pt shot.

1 Trimble (#2) executes a DHO with 3 Layman (#10) on the wing and replaces him

Maryland DHO / PNR Action vs M2M
3 Layman (#10) reverses the ball to 4 Carter (#4) stepping off the arc and follows for a hand-off

Maryland DHO / PNR Action vs M2M
4 Carter (#4) moves to set a screen for 1 Trimble (#2) who comes off the screen and catches the pass from 3 Layman (#10)
3 Layman (#10) cuts to the weak side corner

Maryland DHO / PNR Action vs M2M
4 Carter (#4) turns and immediately sets a ball screen for 1 Trimble (#2) who comes off the screen looking to shoot, attack or pass inside to 5 Stone (#33) who has relocated to the ball side block

In this sequence, 1 Trimble (#2) throws back to 4 Carter (#4) popping behind the arc for the 3 pt shot
