About Brandon Chambers

Brandon Chambers enters his first as an assistant coach with Paul VI High School. Prior to his position with Paul VI, Chambers served as an Assistant Coach at Marymount University for two seasons in the Capital Athletic Conference. 

Chambers first season with Marymount during the 2013-14 season was a huge success. The team finished season with a 16-12 (7-9) CAC record - Increasing the team's wins total from 7 to 16. Following the turnaround, the Saints posted a 19-7 (13-5 CAC) record during the 2014-15, breaking the single season wins record at Marymount University.

Prior to his two seasons at Marymount, Chambers spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Misericordia University. At Misericordia, helped guide the Cougars to a 21-7 record in 2012 culminating in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Misericordia went on to post a 13-13 record and the MAC Freedom semifinals in 2013.

Chambers graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He was a student assistant with the VCU men’s basketball team that won the 2011 NCAA Southwest Regional and advanced to the Final Four. The VCU team beat five teams to reach the final four, USC, Georgetown, Purdue, Florida State, and Kansas. The squad was awarded an ESPN ESPY Award for “Best Upset” after defeating top-seeded Kansas in the national quarterfinals.  He also with the VCU team when they won the 2010 College Basketball Invitational. 

Chambers has coached at numerous high-level basketball camps including Five-Star, Hoop Mountain, Hoop Group Elite, and Hoop Group Top 100’s in Northern Virginia, Metro, and Philadelphia. In addition, he has also worked camps at Virginia Commonwealth University, George Mason University, George Washington University, University of Virginia, University of Pittsburgh, Radford University, University of Kentucky, University of Connecticut, and the Wootten Camp at Bishop O’Connell High School.
