Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach Pearl used this play when defenses tried to take away the lob. They key here is to he the screener. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawMike Woodson drew up this SLOB Need 3 action when he was the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks. While it is possible for 1 to be open on the first set of screens, do to help 3 is more than likely the option that will be open for a catch & shoot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA well designed SLOB play run by French National Team Coach Vincent Collet designed to get an isolation in the paint, off a side ball screen. Here France used the low post flash to attack the basket off the ball screen and although this situation was not successful, the play itself brings a multitude of opportunities to score off a dead ball situation. Favorite Send to FastDrawLate game play ran by Seattle in the 2000 playoffs vs. the Jazz. Gary Payton inbouded the ball and posted up. If you have a good post up guard this is a simple way to get the ball in the post for an iso, or you can change your personnel and post up any player directly from a side out situation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBill Self ran this SLOB play for Ben McLemore last year with the Kansas Jayhawks. When teams blanketed McLemore on the perimeter, this was a good option for him to slip to the rim while the weak side help is drawn away by a downscreen. McLemore (2) is the inbounder on this play. Favorite Send to FastDrawIn late game situations when you need a three pointer, Wheels is a good double screen set that frees up your shooter. When 1 comes off a double ball screen, he has room to stretch out the play on the perimeter, which allowed the double pindown to open up a shooter. 3 is the designed shooter in this scenario. Favorite Send to FastDrawBox Flare Drop is an end game SLOB play that gets a layup for your best post player. With 5-10 seconds left and needing only a two-pointer, the play starts in a box formation with a shooter starting on the opposite block. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Portland TrailBlazers coach Terry Stotts drew up this end game SLOB for a Blazers game winner. Needing a three pointer in a catch and shoot situation, Box Side Elevator starts in a box formation with the shooter on the opposite block. Watch the weird spacing on this play and how awkward it becomes for the defenders to hedge on the elevator screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Miami Heat ran this play in the 2012 playoffs to get a lob for Dwyane Wade. The lob action has also been successful for us, but once teams have the play scouted, we've been able to take advantage by inbounding to the screener and setting up a handoff or a down screen option. It is critical that 3 sells the initial zipper cut, as most teams will deny this pass and this will force the defender into a position where he's easier to screen coming back to the basket. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is based on a lob play the Miami Heat run for Dwyane Wade. We added onto it when teams started taking away the lob late in the season. The secondary actions are excellent in late-game situations. It's critical that you teach 3 to cut hard off the initial screen, as most teams will deny the inbound to him and set up the back screen nicely. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAfter Carter buried the Raptors and sent the game to OT, he got another chance to win it in the extra frame. Lawrence Frank drew up another lob play for him, once again banking on the defense paying attention to players other than Carter. The misdirection lob play is a staple in SLOB situations, and Carter does a great job selling the screen to set it up. See More
