Favorite Send to FastDrawCoach Jim Larranaga wants to play up-tempo and score in transition. This year they have concentrated more on getting the ball inside the paint more. Even though it has a modern day (4 Out) look it still has an old fashion (inside-out) approach to basketball. To execute this plan they use a variety of ball screen type action and roll/replace concepts. Having a very good point guard that can drive and shoot makes this tough to defend. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIndiana took a page out of the playbook of many NBA teams by running this set early against the Mocs in the NCAA tournament. What makes this action so hard to guard is the quick timing of the handoff to ball screen, all while the offense is flying down in transition. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that the Chattanooga Mocs ran early in their first round game against Indiana. This is a nice set that has lots of good action. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a quick hitter that Buffalo used early in the first half against Miami that lead to the getting a wide open three. They did a great job out of the 1-4 set at creating space for quick penetration or the kick for three. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawYale ran this play out of a timeout protecting a one point lead late against Baylor. Understanding that Baylor would be trying to deny all passes with only 9 seconds left, this play makes it hard for x2 to both deny the inbound pass and also defend against the home run ball. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA wrinkle to a common screen-the-screener play that Austin Peay has run frequently this year, this play is predicated on the defense jamming the middle for the screen-the-screener action. It allows a shooter to leak out to the wing while his defender sags middle to take away the down screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawA great set from Austin Peay, this backdoor set gets is designed to also get a shooter coming off a double stagger to the top of the key. Great action with floor balance if no shot results See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawKansas coach Bill Self runs a Flex action out of 1-4 low formation when the ball is under their own bucket. Help defense on the first Flex screen is rarely in good position when the ball is inbounded underneath, and the man guarding the inbounder can get too attached to the inbounder. It's a great way to get into Flex, especially with other inbound plays out of a 1-4 low package See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBaylor used this ATO quick hitter against Yale. The action is very similar to the longtime Dallas Mavericks play "1 Down", which is designed to free up Dirk Nowitzki for a jumper. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawBaylor ran this SOB set against Yale in the first half with 4 seconds remaining on the shot clock. A bad pass disrupted this play, but a good downscreen by 1 was able to free up 2 at the top of the key. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUCONN hammer set at 11:45 in second half versus Colorado VIDEO See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawDuke ran this play with 6 seconds leff in the first half against UNCW. As the 1 attacked, he drew two defenders, leaving 4 open after the second screen. Ingram was able to dribble into an open 3pt shot to end the half. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawUNCW ran Loop action several times against Duke in the 1st half, and this was one play I particularly liked. After two runs off the stagger and receives the ball, 5 cross screens 4 into a side pick and roll. The 4 slips early to the corner for a look at a 3pt shot. This puts a lot of pressure on x4 defensively, but in this particular case, Duke's Ingram just had so much length that he was able to closeout in time to prevent the 3pt shot. See More
