Basketball Play - Princeton Backdoor Side BS Pin

Princeton Backdoor Side BS Pin

Matt Hackenberg 04/26/2022

In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set play out of a Princeton alignment. I think the backdoor option on the high post entry is sneaky, and could work if executed well. The baseline is cleared so the roller may be there from the ball screen, and of course the shooter coming off the pin down is a nice option. Basketball Play - Princeton Stack Series

Princeton Stack Series

Matt Hackenberg 04/14/2022

In this diagram and embedded video we look at a series of plays out of the Princeton alignment that start with a stack. These plays work well together, all have minor tweaks to make them different but are simple to execute. Building this series around a dynamic driver is a wise thing to do. Basketball Play - High Ball Screen Throwback Chicago

High Ball Screen Throwback Chicago

Matt Hackenberg 04/08/2022

In this diagram and embedded video we look at a set with some nice false action to get to a gap drive. I'm a big fan of using the pin down into the DHO action, so adding a little more misdirection with the ball screen throwback makes the set even more interesting to me.
