05/30/2013This is a good set run against the 2-3 Zone with multiple ball screen actions forcing the defense to make quick rotation decisions See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Wolverines ran a variety of set plays against the Syracuse Zone for high percentage shots Here is a good play where penetration and a simple out cut leaves the defense withiout coverage on a perimeter shooter See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis was a nice action run by John Beilein against the Syracuse 2-3 Zone On the wing pass, the Zone is forced to make decisions on priority coverage In this situation, x4 got caught and 5 was able to hit 4 on the baseline for an easy lay-up - in the next sequence when this play was run, the defense adjusts, but this time 5 is free for an elbow jumper See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawAnother good 1/2 court set run against the 2-3 Zone by the Michigan Wolverines. This set utilizes the ball screen as the 3 looks to get in the paint and force rotation situations from the back defenders The Wolverines ran this set effectively and what makes this even more dangerous is the 3 pt shooting ability of Stauskas on the wing spotting up See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of the set plays run by John Beilein in the Semi-Final Game against Syracuse. The Wolverines made an adjustment to their Zone Offense looking to attack the gaps by spreading the zone out. This is a very good play for an athletic 4 man who can put the ball on the floor. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a baseline out of bounds play that I ran for my Junior Varsity squad this past season. I initially drew it up figuring it would work well versus man defense. However, as the season progressed, I found that this play worked almost every time against a zone (especially 2-3) zone. It takes some time to teach younger players how to screen in different situations but my 5's become great at sealing under the rim and almost always resulted in a lay-up. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a simple but versatile play that allows you to take advantage of having more than one 3 point shooter. This play (which was run by the Kutztown University Bears during the 2001-2002 season) is equally effective vs. a zone defense. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawAn action to try and create an advantage on the backside of the zone. Shift the zone on the first pass and then overload the backside while creating a lane for 1 to create a shot. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a Zone Offense Set Play that Kentucky used during their National Championship run a couple years ago. It involves ball screens and moving the ball to make the zone move. I hope that you enjoy. See More
