Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a zipper set that is run to get the ball in the hands of your best decision maker (1 in this play) and gives you plenty of scoring oppertunities. The spurs run a variation of this play with much success by putting Parker at the 1. Ginobli at the 2 (who can get a 3 on the extra pass from 3) and Danny Green at the 3. The skills of these players puts a lot of stress on the defense and makes this quick hitter hard to guard. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is a baseline out of bounds play that I ran for my Junior Varsity squad this past season. I initially drew it up figuring it would work well versus man defense. However, as the season progressed, I found that this play worked almost every time against a zone (especially 2-3) zone. It takes some time to teach younger players how to screen in different situations but my 5's become great at sealing under the rim and almost always resulted in a lay-up. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawMisdirection play set up by 1 man making entry pass to 2 and cutting through. 2 brings ball to top on the dribble and looks for 1 on left side. Second option is 3-5 screen for 4 curling to catch and score on right side. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 receives staggered flare screens from 2 and 4. First option is skip pass to 1 for open three pointer. Second option is to reverse to 2 and on ball screen by 4. 2 can penetrate and pitch to 1 on left wing. Also, 1 can clear to right corner, leaving the left side open for two-man game between 2 and 4. Give it a try! See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a box set that gives you a an opportunity to take advantage of a mis-match by going to an ISO for 1 on the weak side attacking off the flat ball screen or to throw back to 3 for a three point shot. This is an effective quick hitter to take advantage of various matchups or to get a quality shot quick in an end of clock situation. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play offers three good looks to score. First option is 1 using the on ball screen to penetrate into the paint to scroe. Two, 3 gets open with screens from 2 and 5. On 3's catch, 5 continues across the lane to screen for 2 for quick shot. Additional action can be designed if 1 reverses to 4. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set that has been used effectively by Butler University over the past few seasons. The concept of this play is similar to Americas play, just in this set there is a stagger back screen set for the post as opposed to a simple cross lane screen. This has been a great set for Butler and hopefully you can find it to be effective as well! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Knicks ran this play midway through the 4th quarter of their game 5 win over the Pacers. With the Knicks going small and having Shumpert set a ball screen then pop, the Pacers were forced to guard the three point line which opened up the roll for Chandler. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawTime tested play used at Arizona for All-American Sean Elliott (3). Starts in 2-1-2 set. Guards X the post after entry pass. On ball reversal, 3 uses back screen to post up on left post up area. 2 gets double screen after he sets back screen for 3. Give it a try! See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is another play that is run frequently by Greg McDermott at Creighton. This set play is unique because it is run from a 2-3 high set with 1 and 2 at top so that 2 can eventually receive the stagger screen later in the play (this can be done out of a 4-out 1-in set by having the trailing big exchange with the weak side guard). This is a great way for you to get your team opportunities for easy 2's or a 3 pointer from the top of the key. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawCKSA ran this blob at the end of the first half in their Euroleague semi final loss to Olympiacos. If you are having trouble inbounding the ball or turning the ball over from the baseline, try setting a double screen. I have rarely seen a double screen used at H.S.'s or on the AAU circuit. At the very least you should get the ball in bounds and if x4 or x5 do not defend properly can slip to the basket for a layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHere is a set play that was run numerous times in the Spurs second game vs. the Golden State Warriors last night. This play starts out of a 3-out 2-in set and quickly develops into a set that gives you a screen and roll option on the strong side and a stagger screen on the weak side. This play is effective because the strong side ball screen forces the defenders of 5 or 3 on the weak side to be in help and will allow either 5 or 3 to slip to the basket after setting their screen.
