Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Boston Celtics ran this backdoor play against the Washington Wizards to get a dunk for Kyrie Irving (1). 1 used a DHO with 3 to position himself in the corner. 3 reversed the ball to 2 then cut to the opposite corner isolating 1 on the left side of the floor. 2 then ran a pick and pop with 4. 4 dribbles at 1 and makes the backdoor pass for the dunk. Favorite Send to FastDrawErik Spoelstra ran this EOG SLOB set in consecutive games versus the Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors. Set is designed to use Wayne Ellington's gravity to pull two defenders onto him when comes off the flare screen from Kelly Olynyk to the strong side corner. Olynyk then sets a down screen for Richardson where he looks to attack on the catch after the inbound pass. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Arizona State Sun Devils ran this play after a timeout in their game against the University of Utah to give one of their top scorers a chance to drive to the basket. After 3 gets the pass from 1, 1 cuts in front of 3 and to the left side of the floor. 3 then drives to the right taking his defender 1-on-1 to the basket. 2 stays spread out on the perimeter to keep x2 from providing help. Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Clemson Tigers use ball and player movement to isolate a side of the floor for a pindown screen for a perimeter player. 1 passes to 4 on the wing then cuts to the ball side corner. 2 then V-cuts to receive the pass up top from 4. 5 sets a pindown screen for 3. Because the Tigers have isolated the left side of the floor, 3 and 5 are playing 2-on-2 off the screen without any other help defenders in the area. When 3 receives the pass and sees x5 providing help, he quickly passes to 5 for the finish at the rim. Blog Post: X's and O's Behind 5 NCAA Teams that are Exceeding Expectations See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawQuick hitter out of Horns from UCAM Murcia Coach Ibon Navarro. Using a shooter as the first screener with the 5 in the corner, 1 and 4 pick and roll as 5 sets a decoy back screen and 2 lifts, both designed to occupy the help on the roller. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHorns Chin set from UCAM Murcia Coach Ibon Navarro. Play starts with a 4 to 5 screen entry then a back screen for 1. 1 then receives a staggared down screen into a DHO with 4. Options from here include another down screen for 3. 5 and 1 PNR action or elevator/stack screen for 2. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawSLOB from Umana Reyer Venezia Head Coach Walter De Raffaele. Useful play call if you have a 4 that can shoot and/or drive. This play uses the 2 as a decoy and a force curl from 3 to clear the lane. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawThis play was #23 on the most downloaded plays of 2018! Check out the full list and download the playbook: The Top 25 Plays of 2018 Zone Quick Hitter Set from Coach Chris Mack and the Xavier Men's Basketball team. Play initiates with the 3 screening the top guard of the 2-3 zone defending the 1. This draws the outside low defender of the 2-3 zone to stop the ball. The 2 and 4 then move to seal the middle and weakside of the 2-3 zone as the 5 cuts strong side to the basket. This provides a easy entry from 1 to a open 5 for the layup. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Golden State Warriors ran this transition play late in the fourth quarter in their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Warriors have multiple players capable of bringing the ball up the floor and making plays. This time it was their 4 (Draymond Green). 5 faked the down screen for 2 and slipped to the basket. x5 is concerned about 2 coming off the screen and wants to provide help. This allows 5 to cut to the rim and get the uncontested dunk off a lob from 4. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis early offense action is widely used throughout the entire NBA, as well as through other levels of basketball. The version the Toronto Raptors have used over the past couple seasons has manufactured many mismatches for their talented back court, as it allows them to attack downhill while the defense is not set, but also creates advantages for secondary players as well. Favorite Send to FastDrawThis Horns quick hitter is effective when run against a defense that overplays the passing lanes. Favorite Send to FastDrawOver the past few seasons, Duke's Mike Krzyzewski has had the luxury of playing long, athletic scorers at the 4 position. Players like Ingram, Tatum, and Bagely could all use their quickness against bigger defenders or use their size to post up smaller guards. This Horns set allows an athletic 4 to use quickness to beat x4 to the block from 2's screen. If the defense switches, the 4 can post up a smaller x2. See More
