Legendary Wisconsin coach Dick Bennett recently shared this late shot clock play at the HoopsU Coaching Academy in Minneapolis. Instead of the standard high flat on ball screen, Coach Bennett ran this play to get his 2 man open to make a play. After the initial cut many options are available. 3 can cut after screening, 5 can screen and post, and 4 could set quick run out on ball screen for 1. This is a super alternative to the late game sets usually run in this situation. See More

This is a good play for isolating your best post scorer in the low post area. 3 catches from 1 and 1 clears to weak side. On the catch, 4 rubs off 5's screen and cut to high post. This presents two options: 5 seals after screening for 4 OR ball is reversed to high post and 4 hits 5 on a post seal. 1 and 2 occupy defenders on the weak side. Give it a try! See More
