Favorite Send to FastDrawThe Philadelphia 76ers like to run this "logo" ball screen action for Ben Simmons to prevent defenses from going under. If Simmons is open on the UCLA cut, they'll look to hit for a quick layup. If the layup is not available, 5 will set a flare screen for 2, creating a post split action to prevent defense from digging. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawHammer set ran by the Phoenix Suns. 2 and 5 set a double step up ball screen for 1. 2 and 3 cross high at the top. 1 attacks baseline and finds 2 drifting to the corner out of the hammer screen set by 4, who relocates to the 3-point line (free-throw line extended) after screening. Favorite Send to FastDrawBudenholzer ran this "Loop" set last year with the Atlanta Hawks to create an open 3 for a stretch big. The action starts off with a pin down into a loop cut across the elbow by the PG/1. As 1 completes cut, 5 immediately turns and sets a ball screen for 2. 5 then rolls into a pin down for 4 who comes off the screen looking for a shot. Offense creates a 3-on-2 advantage on the weak side as the ball handler occupies the screener's defender. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is another Horns set that Croatia ran against Lithuania in the first window of the second round of the FIBA European Qualifiers. It's designed to get Saric a post up. After the elbow entry to 2, 1 and 3 set a double rip screen for 4. While this is happening, 5 sets a ball screen for 2 to occupy the defense. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawThis is one of the many "Diamond" sets from Henrik Dettmann of the Finnish National Team. As 4 slips the ball screen, this creates an advantage for the offense as x5 has to help on the slip. As x5 helps, 5 sets a pindown for 3. Because x5 is helping on the slip from 4, the offense creates a 2-on-1 advantage on the weak side since there is no help on 3 as he comes off the screen. See More
Favorite Send to FastDraw1 hits the wing, and cuts to the strong side corner. 5 sets a shuffle screen for 2. After the screen, 5 snaps back to receive the pass. On the ball reversal to 4, the 2 sets a shuffle screen for 3. 5 sets a screen, for the shuffle screener (2). On the catch, 5 sets an angle ball screen. 3 spaces to the weak side corner. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawWinthrop's terrific guard, Keon Johnson, was being trapped in wing ball screens. To counter this, Winthrop utilized an action which the Oklahoma City Thunder run regularly to free up Russell Westbrook. They set a zipper screen, to eliminate the hard hedge. At the point of the ball screen, the 5 sets a Flip Ball Screen. A flip ball screen is simply "flipping" the screening angle, at the point of the ball screen. It is a simple, but effective way to counter team's who are trapping or hard hedging ball screens. See More

Favorite Send to FastDrawUSC ran this half court set in their first round 2017 NCAA Tournament win over SMU. They used this "Circle Action" to get their Point Guard (1) down hill, off of a ball screen. The weak side defender helped on the roll, so USC skipped it to the opposite corner for an open three point shot. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawMichigan State used this set to get a layup, early in their 2017 NCAA Tournament match-up with Kansas. The misdirection dribble hand-off, with a trailing ball screen, allowed Michigan State to hit the rolling post player for an easy two. See More
Favorite Send to FastDrawIn the second round match-up between Kansas and Michigan State, Bill Self felt like the Jayhawks needed to get the ball inside. To start the 2nd half, they ran this set, which resulted in two points. The lob option, led to a high/low post isolation, which scored easily. See More
